Tour well done.
The tour was great, our guide (whose name escapes us) was professional, knowledgeable and super friendly. We enjoyed every minute of this tour. Thank you!!
Had an excellent day on this tour. Started at the Navy Memorial, then loads of epic sites through the day.
We were in a small coach, approx 18 of us. Guided by Josh Keanu Reeves and driven by sounds like Rohell. Loads of sites and memorials visited. Josh was really funny with loads of awful jokes and pop quiz questions through the day.
This is a bit of a hop on hop off with being driven to an area then walking between the sites with Josh talking about the history and symbolism of the memorials. Total walking distance was approx 3 miles spread throughout the day. Nice gentle pace with Josh always waiting for everyone.
The river boat ride around lunchtime was a nice interlude for a bite and a drink.
This is the same tour as the more expensive Capitol Building and Archives Tour saves about 50 without express entry. Both are free but may have a queue. We visited the Archives straight after and the queue was 15 mins to get in and another 15 inside.
Definitely recommend this tour.
A fantastic day and tour
the tour guide was very knowledgeable fantastic tour
Josh was our tour guide and he was awesome. My dad and I found that this was a great way to start our vacation and to see all the monuments. It was great to hear all the stories of the places people went and to be able to talk to Josh about places to visit, it helped us lay out the rest of our trip around Washington DC including adding in the US Capital Tour and the Library of Congress. Josh was great about answering any questions we had, and he had great games and facts to pass the time between stops. Would definitely do the tour again.
Well worth the price and experience. Exceeded my expectations. Joey and Tony were great and accommodating to the elderly
Lovely way to cover major monuments in DC.
With this 5 hour tour, you pretty much see the entire city with stops at every monument or government building that you don't need a pass for. The highlight is looking down the national mall from the Lincoln Memorial where you get a clear view of the Washington Monument, the White House and the Capitol Building. Our guide Christopher not only was knowledgeable, but also exhibited the kind of humor you's expect on a tour about the government
Our guide Esau was great. He mixed in his vast knowledge of the Washington D.C. sights with a lot of humor. We really enjoyed our time with him, and we appreciated the nice air conditioned bus. The tour was well worth the money!!
Loved this. Definitely a must, we visited all the main places with a very good guide. Definitely worth it.
Tour guide was truly amazing. He had endless knowledge and experience and so made the tour thoroughly comprehensive and worthwhile
This was a highly worthwhile tour and I cannot overemphasize how terrific Deon was as a guide and how great the overall experience was for the education and value!
The tour was perfect. Very knowledgeable and interesting guide. We saw all major attractions and I would definitely recommend this tour during anyone's visit Washington
I decided to try out this tour after reading reviews online. I was not disappointed at all. Joey, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of DC as she grew up there. She's also caring as there was a passenger that came for the shortened version and her husband was still at the memorial we were in. Joey was hesitant to let her off but she made sure that she dropped the passenger off as close to her husband as she can. The bus itself is air conditioned and the driver Daniel was smooth and not rough. Please consider this sightseeing tour as it is more personalized to a smaller group than a bigger crowd. You can ask Joey for any tidbits or things to do if you're new here as she knows DC.
I loved my Washington D.C. tour with Dion. He was an amazing, knowledgeable guide. He knew so many facts and and so much history about all the monuments we visited. The tour was very comprehensive stopping at so many of the famous sites of Washington D.C. The river cruise was a nicely placed break from the driving, stopping and walking part of the tour. The tour was really great because if I had to see all of these sites on my own I wouldn't have been able to get that done. I would have never, ever been able to put this type of tour together on my own. I was in Washington D. C. on business and had only one day to see the Capitol. I would highly recommend the tour, but make sure you get Dion! He is awesome really made the day enjoyable and interesting with his knowledge and his amicable demeanor. You rock Dion! Thank you. Joanne
This tour was very informative and covered most of the major monuments. Our guide Christopher was very knowledgeable and also entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting DC.
Very informative and fun! Our tour bus driver was excellent. I will book again the next time I'm in DC
This trip was perfect and our tour guide and driver were great. Our friends were from Australia and the tour gave them just the right amount of sites and information. Also, stopping for the 1 hr cruise on the Potomac was outstanding. I would highly recommend this tour and tour company. Our guide was Joey and she was fantastic.
Our party of 4 (3 adults and 1 child) thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Andrew was a terrific tour guide! He has a phenomenal wealth of knowledge about each site/monument. He imparted so many morsels of trivia about historical figures and tour sites. The only negative of our day was the 96 degree weather.
This tour was amazing! At first I was a little hesitant about paying for a tour to see sights we could already see for free however, because we were only in town for a couple short days and because of limited and expensive parking in DC, this tour was SO WORTH IT!!! We NEVER would have been able to see all that we saw in one day on our own and our tour guide and driver was so knowledgeable and accommodating. She knew so much about the history of each place we visited and they offered us plenty of cold water which was fantastic because it was so hot outside. The tour was worth every penny, we would definitely do it again!
Our guide was amazing and got to see the top Must See's in DC.
What a great way to see DC! The price was excellent for the friendliness of all three staff members and the number of monuments toured in the time period! Deon was an excellent guide with lots of stories about US history that were new to me, and I'm a history nut! We enjoyed the Potomac River cruise, too! It was a day well-spent!
Walked our feet off but what a wonderful tour! We wanted to see ALL highlights at the beginning of our week to better choose what we wanted to go back to later. War Memorials were probably our favorites solemn and so meaningful to see first hand. Had hot weather so cold water on the bus was big plus! Our tour guide was full of fun facts all along the route and very accommodating. We want to go back for another trip. Washington DC is a beautiful, very clean city with so many things to do and see....one trip not enough!
Tour Guide Chris and Driver Tony of USA Guided Tours were amazingly outstanding. Even though we took the night tour the evening before, we learned a lot more from Chris. He was tremendously knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor, and spent the time walking and accompanying us at each place we went to. My 13 year old son learned a lot from this tour.
This was one of the most fun and informative tours my wife and I have ever taken thanks to Christopher and the driver Tony. My wife has never been to DC before and we only had one day so it was important for us to jam pack a lot into one day to see as many sites as we could. This tour was the perfect tour to do that. We visited almost all of the important sites we wanted to see and had plenty of time to experience each site including the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Memorial, Korean, Viet Nam and WWII memorials, Jefferson Memorial, FDC Memorial, White House, Capital Building and much more. The WWII stop was one of the most emotional because we got to see and shake hands with several WWI veterans. The MLK Memorial was also very important to see. To be candid, based on the tour information, I expected we would see all of these great sites. What I didn't expect and was pleasantly surprised at was the knowledge and great sense of humor of Christopher. He made the trip special and something we won't soon forget. We not only learned a lot but we had fun learning and his sense of humor, while hilarious, was PG rated so nothing was offensive for the kids. He also appeared to truly enjoy his job which made it ever more fun. The boat trip was a nice way to relax before more touring as well. For those who say there was not enough time to spend at a specific site, I would suggest that this tour helps whet the appetite for doing a more detailed tour of any or all sites. I also enjoyed Christopher taking the time to share with us knowledge about buildings and museums that were not part of the tour. Makes me want to come back again. In sum, very well done and Christopher and Tony are a great team. I would strongly recommend this for children to great grandparents. All on the bus seem to enjoy.
This was a good tour. We went to lots of sights and able to get off the bus. Loved our guide Christopher. He kept a good pace and left no laggers behind. He had a sense of humor as well as a good knowledge of his subject Matt. Water was provided and the bus was a good size. Would definitely recommend this!
This tour was amazing! We toured all the major monuments on the National Mall and spent plenty of time at each one for pictures and reflection. Our guide, Nick, was informative and witty. Very funny guy! His knowledge of history was impressive. Omar, our driver, knew the city very well and was always where we could find him. We topped the trip off with a ride on the Potomac River while we ate incredible sandwiches from a local shop. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to visit everything but has no idea where to start!
This tour was truly worth it! Esau was informative, accommodating and funny! He and Ali, our driver, worked really well together!
This was great for my first time.thanks.
Great tour well worth the money
Our guide, Christopher, was so enthusiastic, and shared his considerable knowledge of Washington DC with us. The tour covered many of Washington's top sites while traveling in a comfortable mini coach bus.
Excellent guide, Nick, knowledgeable and funny very bad jokes! and a lovely guy. There was a lot to see and there was some walking, but he set a pace everyone could follow easily and there was always the option of staying on the bus. At the memorials there was plenty of time to take photos and have a good look round. Great tour and a great introduction to DC. Highly recommended.
A must in DC! Great tour guides and it takes you ALL over the city. Awesome if you have a short time in DC and want to see as much as possible. Highly recommend!
Great tour. We had a knowledgeable and funny tour guide Christopher.
For the 5 hour tour, we stopped at all the main monuments and just had enough time to get out and look around.
This tour was amazing!
Fabulous tour very informative and extremely interesting. Superb tour guide Nick and driver. Enjoyed every minute of the day.
This was a great way to see Washington with lots of stops and great things to see. the guide gave us lots of information and keep the tour interesting and gave us lots of laughes, no matter if you have lots of time or just a couple of days this is the tour for you, Enjoy
Excellent tour for first time visitors. Great tour guide Mr Peachy.
This trip was ideal to see so many important monuments in 1 day. The driver, Derek, and the tour guide, Ralph were excellent! He gave lots of interesting historical information and the pace was just right for us and our grandkids, There was a nice mix of seeing sights from the comfortable bus, and walking around to get pictures. We loved this trip!
It's an interesting experience to travel around Washington DC on this tour. That's a way to know the history of the historic places and some fun facts of the past presidents. Joey was our guide and she was very knowledgable about the DC area. Our driver Tony was helpful to look for the route possible even there was a marathon on the run. Recommend you to visit DC with this tour! :
Our guide was wonderful. We give him 10 out of 10. The place we were directed to for lunch needs to be changed. It was cereal mix up and way to slow for a large group. Make other arrangements. The itinerary was great.
Great tour, highly informative. Got to see many tourist attractions and helped me plan better the rest of my stay in Washington. Tour guide was excellent and she provided ice cold water for everyone on the bus the temperature outside was in the high 90s. While 6 hours seems long, time went by fast and we were not on the bus for long stretches. There were many stops to have closer looks and take photos. but you may want to take an extra couple of days to spend more time at some attractions and definitely visit the art gallery, it is free and amazing pictures inside.
Nick was our guide and he was great. Very informative, attentive and funny. Tony our bus driver was great as well. Highly recommend this tour.
our Driver and Guild were fantastic. I will be back to DC and I will use your service again and would recommend to any one not knowing there way around DC to use your company for sightseeing.
With USA Guided Tours, our driver and tour guide were fantastic!!! Tony, the great driver, quickly checked us in. He was a super careful, friendly, safe, prompt, and courteous driver! John A., our wonderful tour guide, was very friendly and provided a lot of enjoyable, personal touches for our small group used a comfortable, air-conditioned, small bus/vehicle. He was so informative, detailed, personable, and kept us engaged with stories, explanations, humor, added in personal experiences, and talked to us as individuals. He guided us on our stops--making sure we got a lot of photo moments, offered to take our pictures, and made sure we stayed together. My husband said he was the perfect tour guide expert knowledge, super patient and alert, fun, humorous, careful, and much more! John along with Tony made sure we were provided with cold, bottle water during the summer heatwave. This team was a 5 stars!!! Choose this super tour for your Washington DC highlights! John said he did a Washington at night tour that provided an even more impressive view of the monuments/memorials, too. If you can get them, John and Tony are THE dynamic duo! At the end, John made sure everyone was safely leaving and knew where to go and provided directions and help! That's just one example of his personal touch. Another is John's recommendations for food. There were general places he directed to all of us, but we were able to go to the two yummy local chili eateries he recommended to just us. At one, Hard Times in old town A., I had a 3-way, but my husband had the 5-way chili mac...Mmm. Also, Viator under TripAdvisor had helpful and patient workers to inform and helped sign up for their tours. They're available 24/7 since I think of questions at odd times and have great prices did online comparisons before booking.
Brian would have to have been one of the greatest tour guides I've ever had. He was simply amazing and very knowledgeable. The views were great. The day was great. I would of loved a tour of the Washington Monument, but it was not on the agenda. HOWEVER, I would strongly recommend doing this tour if you only had a short stay in DC.
It was great. We saw the most important monuments and had time to take pictures. Ate lunch in a boat. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. The 6 hours went by quickly. Highly recommend.
A great day around Washington, our guide Christopher showed us all the sights and was very informative. There is so much to see.
This tour was amazing and was even made so special by our tour guide Esau and our driver Rahel.. Esau kept us fully engaged and was fun.Gave us some cool informations of bygone days. The tour l should say is a semi-private tour with us less than 25 that day. Must do when first time in DC. Thanks Esau!!
What a team Mary and Rajell!!!
Really a great way to get an overview of the city and see the most important venues. 6 Hours is a good amount of time to get the feeling of each venue, then go back later to the ones we were most interested in to spend more time. Our tour guide Christopher was incredibly personable and well versed in American history so he made our tour extra meaningful. Our driver as well was very courteous and accommodating. Our family was thrilled with this experience.
This was a wonderful tour, despite being a record breaking hot day in Washington DC. Mary, our guide, and Rahel, our driver, did everything possible to keep us moving and as cool as possible. The boat tour on the Potomac was a welcome respite. We spent and adequate amount of time at each stop and saw all the highlights of DC and some of the less visited areas like Korean War Memorial and FDR Memorial. Mary's knowledge and passion for sharing were evident throughout the tour. She is amazing! Rahel did a spectacular job of driving and assuring the bus was as cool as possible when we returned from our site visits. The only surprise, but not a real issue, was more walking than expected. Mary did make sure we found elevators in the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorial. Overall, fun and educational day. We will definitely visit some of the free options Mary noted during the tour, e.g., Newseum.
Chris guide and Lee driver were excellent, spot-on, punctual, funny and informative! Definitely a must do for first-time DC visitors.
We saw so much in one day. We so enjoyed the stories of our guide Ralph. He was both knowledgable and entertaining. I recommended the tour to friends.
Lovely and educational tour. Our guide, Joey, was informative, humorous and very well organized in keeping the group together. I would recommend the tour to anyone coming here and suggest they ask for Joey as guide.
Great trip for seeing the highlights of Washington especially at this time when the the new president election is going on. The tour guide was very informative and friendly and provided us with plenty of water as it was 104 degrees on this day.
John was spectacular as a tour guide. We had so much fun. Even though the heat was terrible, Sam kept the air conditioned at the right level. We also had water and soda for free. My wife and I recommend this trip if you want to know the Capitol city.
Great tour guide and wonderful overview of DC. Would take it again and recommend everyone do this trip on your first day in DC.
Christopher was excellent! Great tour!
The last time we were in DC was over 20 years ago. So we decided to take a refresher tour that covered all of the major sights. The river cruise was excellent. Ralph, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
This tour was awesome!! I was apprehensive about taking a 6 hr tour with thoughts that I might fall asleep. I was so wrong. The tour was the BEST! Our tour guide Ralph was a true historian and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour and count it an extra blessing if your guided by Ralph!
Hit all the main locations. Mary our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Made trip better.
Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us get the most out our excursion.
Excellent! Our tour guide, Ralph, was excellent at explaining things and even scored tickets for us to get into the National Archives! Would do again!
Definitely worth doing
This tour was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Our guide Chris and driver Lee did an outstanding job. We hit all of DC in just a few hours and the amount of information about each site was fabulous. Chris went OVER AND ABOVE on the whole tour. From additional information about sites that weren't being seen to even making sure I could hit a cash station along the way. I was listening to all of the other tour guides in the area and not one compared to the AMAZING job done by Chris. I highly recommend this tour to all, but make sure you request Chris and Lee... You won't be disappointed!!
This was an awesome tour. Our tour guide, Allen, was great. He's an older guy who does the tours part time and made everything very enjoyable. He regaled us with legitimately interesting stories, had a lot of fun facts about D.C., made sure we didn't lose anyone, provided us plenty of opportunities for photo's, and made sure he was available to take pics of your whole family/group for you so no one had to be left out at each place or risk handing their camera or phone to a random stranger. The driver was with the bus at all times too, so we were able to leave things on it, which was nice. There were bathrooms at several of the stops along the way, and a cooler full of water bottles available on the bus all day long to make up for that. There was a snafu with the lunch some of the group had paid for in advance, and there was one guy on the tour who wouldn't shut up about what a horrible time he was having. Otherwise, this was well worth the money.
Mary, our tour guide EXTRAORDINAIRE, made our trip MEMORABLE!! It was a scorchingly HOT day, but she kept us going and ENGAGED!! She was a FABULOUS story teller and was super personable!! The monuments all came to life thanks to her superb presentations!!
Skip the boat tour, sub Arlington Cemetery!
This tour was amazing!
Our tour guide Nick was the perfect host. His knowledge was amazing and extremely entertaining with his witting sense of humor. I would definitely recommend this tour. Great value for money. Juanita Matheson
This tour was amazing!
This tour was amazing!
Ralph and Lee were excellent. Very informative and enjoyable.
Our guide Brian and Racquel our driver was a great combination. Brian is knowledgeable and Racquel knows her way around. Highly recommend this team and this tour, it was worth it...
This tour was amazing!
Perfect way to see the monuments in one day. The boat ride on the Potomac was a relaxing midday break and it was informative.
This tour was amazing!
It was a wonderful experience and I learned so much from the tour. Our guide Chris was great and had so much historical knowledge. He kept us on track w/our stops and added so much humor into the tour. I definitely would recommend this tour.
This tour was amazing!
We only had 1 day to spend in DC and this tour was perfect. We were able to see the City highlights we have done all the monuments before but it is always nice to see things again and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I really appreciated how smoothly everything was run- we kept on schedule and the whole day was very well orchestrated. We had our 16 month old son with us which can be challenging when you are on a tour like this and our Guide was so nice to us and didn't make us feel like an annoyance even as we lugged the stroller on and off the bus. We couldn't have asked for a better day.
Great time and educational too. My teenage children will remember this for the rest of their lives!
This tour was Fabulous! It had been years since my husband and I had been to DC. I highly recommend your tour and your experienced staff. Our guide Brian was very knowledgable and truly made our trip experience wonderful!!! We can and #39;t wait to do a night tour with ya and #39;ll.
Shout out to our driver too!
Excellent. Tour guide, Terry?, was excellent, very knowledgeable, kept the group together and covered a lot of good history that I didn't know about. I would highly recommend this tour. However, you walk more than you realize....my fitbit said about 12,000 steps. They had a lot of water for us, which we needed.
Tony and Christ our guide and bus driver were great in providing lots of interesting facts, information, and humor as this trip was truly the Washington DC Mall in ONE DAY.
Ralph was a great tour guide! Wonderful day touring the city and a nice time on boat ride!
Excellent, Paul was brilliant!
Excellent tour, informative about the US history. We enjoyed Brian' guide very much. Thank you.
Old couple from Canada Japan
Tour guide was excellent. Bus was very nice. Congenial group of people. Nicely done!
Our tour was awesome. We were and got lost. They stayed on the phone with us until we found the shuttle. they took us to meet the rest of the group and our tour guide Christopher was fantastic. His historical knowledge was impeccable. He was friendly and very safety conscious. It was an absolutely wonderful experience.
Lee was good , but the star of the tour was Chris he not only knew the major sights but also the minor part of our tour
Great tour. Christopher was a fantastic guide. He was very helpful, kept tour moving at a good pace, could answer all questions asked. A tour of Washington Monument was included. A mix-up on the companies part prevented us from going on the the monument tour. Christopher went to bat for us when I presented the printed online description. He was able to get us tickets for the next day. The office girl, Destiny, was extremely rude and difficult to deal with. We so appreciated Christopher's help.
Other than getting a late start about 30 min, the tour went fine. Our tour guide Chris seemed very knowledgeable and has great people skills. Our driver Lee was also very people oriented and helped ensure we had a present experience.
I would consider using your service again in the future.
Experience was fantastic. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor.
Good.. Excellent Tour Guide..
Met our expectations. The guide did a fine job. The driver was excellent.
Next time please arrange for the rain to fall while we are in the bus.
It was great! our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to point out small things that we would have never seen his name is Ralph..good job Ralph! It had rained a bit that day and they also provided us with ponchos and the bus was nice and warm when we returned..wonderful tour
Mary was so knowledgable and really gave us a great narrative and even though the weather was terrible she did her best to make sure we got everything we were expecting. Great
I have previously rated this tour.
It was great, very informative, driver and guide were nice and knoledged.
