I don't know where to start.... i highly recommend this tour for someone limited on time or with slight disability someone that cant walk great distance, however there is some walking .Our tour guide was the greastest, she really knew her facts and the history of washington. We really saw a lot in the 2 hour tour, more than i ever thought we would. I WAS REALLY INPRESSED !!!
This was a great way to start our week in DC. Mike our tour guide and driver was exceptional. He knew the history, sights and inside stories about not only the historical sites around the National Mall but also the buildings and culture of the city. He made us feel right at home. Two thumbs up for Mike. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Mike. Thanks again.
Sophia was an amazing tour guide. Being brought up in the DC area she had lots of insider historical information. It was like a private tour as there were only 4 of us. We were able to get up close to many of the sites for pictures. With the Electric Cart you can see things you wouldn't on a tour bus. We had time to walk down the Vietnam wall and also climb up in the Lincoln Memorial. A very enjoyable 2 hours.
Great way to see the a number of sights in a short period of time. It feels more like a walking tour since you are not enclosed in a bus. Our tour guide, Stephen, was great and had immense knowledge of the popular sights in Washington, D.C. He mixed interesting facts with funny anecdotes and provided his own local recollections.
This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our tour guide Guergana was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun too! She even had our boys 12 and 16 hanging on every word. We recommend highly!!
This is definitely the way to start your DC trip. Our driver/guide, Chris, was excellent! He knows everything there is to know about the monuments/museums and was spot on with his must see advice and tips on seeing them. He also gave us a great list of area restaurants that covered every cuisine you might be interested in! Highly recommend this tour, and if your lucky enough to get Chris, all the better!
Ana was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly!
The only way to travel around a very expansive area. Our tour guide was very informative and funny. Every part of the tour was rewarding to my wife and me. I had a tough time walking the Vietnam Memorial Wall. But with my wife at my side i got through it. Thanks again to Viator Tours and the people who run the Tour for them. Harlen and Cheryl
Perfect tour! Our guide Steve was very knowledgeable and detailed with our tour. He gave us the perfect amount of time at our stops and we saw so many DC Monuments as well Steve shared information on smaller sites too. A great tour that helped us learn and then plan for a second visit to some places
Stephen was great! When we got lost he actually came and found us! This was a great tour and our tour guide had all the information and kept it fun! Highly recommended! The blankets on this very cold day were very welcome!
My wife had limited time to see capitol hill and DC monuments and this golf cart tour allowed us a great overviews in a short amount of time.
This was a very fun experience with an outstanding guide! While it was a dreary day, being in the open car was not a problem with lap blankets available for us all. It was great to hop on/hop off at some of the major monuments and to get the very personal stories shared by our guide. Our family three generations all enjoyed our trip very much. Highly recommended!
This tour is an incredible experience, and ours was expertly run by Sofia. She is an outstanding guide, very knowledgeable about history, architecture, and the entire D.C. Area. Her sense of humor and friendly personality make her perfect for this tour, so ask for her if you can. We visited all the major sites, and were able to make a number of stops for photo ops. No worries about trying to take photos through a window! Slightly longer stops at the MLK monument including a bathroom break opportunity, and the Lincoln Memorial gave us a chance to explore a little on foot. The tour is a very efficient way to gain an overview of D.C. in two hours, and it allows you to save your energy for revisiting your favorite highlights if you wish. Even if you only have two hours to spare, take this tour for a great experience. Our twelve-year old grandson truly enjoyed the tour as much as we did. It is suitable for all ages, for those who can't walk great distances, but also for the active ones.
We did the electric cart tour this past Friday during the snow, and start of rush-hour. Our driver Chris was absolutely wonderful! We loved, loved, loved him. He was wonderful with his knowledge, and answering all our questions, and also the joking around. We had a wonderful time would highly recommend this to anybody and everybody.
We took this tour the first day we arrived and it was perfect. Our guide Chris was awesome! He gave us lots of background and information about the city as we drove around. I would highly recommend this tour, my husband and I both enjoyed it. We saw lots of important stops, had the chance for photos - just GREAT. Ask for Chris if you can get him.
Excellent tour. Driver very knowledgeable and friendly. Strongly recommend this tour.
This was a perfect tour to start our trip. It is a nice size group with easy off and on. You get the lay of the land and lots of history added in.We enjoyed our guide Sophia and she was really patient too with my sweet parent companions of 90 and 85. Highly recommend.
It was worth every penny and more! We did it The day we landed so we could get the lay of the land and everyone was awestruck at how much our driver knew I would recommend it to anybody and I do it again if I went to Washington DC
We saw so much! Capital, Lincoln Monument, Washington Monuments,White House., Vietnam memorial, MLK memorial, FDR memorial. Drove by most of the museums. It was a small group of the 6 of us so didn't have to wait to get on and off a big bus. Guide was so knowledgeable and friendly!!! Excellent 2 hours!! Perfect since we had a toddler.
The Electric Cart is a great way to go sightseeing. Very comfortable and everyone has a view. Abby, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, interesting and fun. I learned a lot from the tour and I was able to then pick the places I wanted to go back to on my own. I would highly recommend this tour!
Best way to see Washington Monuments, seen everything with limited walking. Guide was very personable and knowledgeable.
Great way to see all the sites in a short time. 7 passenger open air electric carts are the best!. Carts are in like new condition, very clean and comfortable. Our driver/guide Chris was fantastic! Always friendly and engaging he is very knowledgeable and has a lot of information to share. You must ask for him!!!
Chris was our guide and gave us all the time we needed to see everything. He had great knowledge and information for us. Highly recommend this to first time visitors to get the lay of the land.
The guide was awesome and very knowledgeable with facts that I never heard before.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city and gave us an interesting tour. Having a small group was nice because I was able to ask a lot of questions. The open air electric car gave us great views and it was easy to get on and off.
ShawnSean? was a wonderful and passionate tour guide. I was the only one on the ride so I was able to ask lots of questions and he was clearly an intelligent and interested history buff. I liked the small electric cart which made the tour of Capitol Hill and the monuments all the more intimate feeling. We stopped here and there but covered a lot of ground in the area and he pointed out buildings and landmarks I would not otherwise have noticed or questioned about what we were seeing. I highly recommend the tour. Also ask the person on the phone you sign up with the exact address of where to meet as you don't want L'Enfant plaza or station. I think it was at 7th St and Maryland.
Wonderful relaxing time. Very informative.
A great way to see the major attractions of our Capitol
Our tour guide was awesome!!! So knowledgeable about D.C. Would highly recommend if visiting!!!
Other than slightly confused where to catch the car, the tour was brilliant. Gave a great insight to the city which was so much more 'green' than we had thought. Allowed time for taking pictures, seeing all the important monuments and pointing out the many museums that we could visit in our own time. Tour terminated after two hours giving us the opportunity to take pictures at the White House where we chose to complete a very interesting tour.
We had a wonderful time, our driver did a great job. My husband uses amwheelchIr and they were so accommodating. After the tour they dropped us off close to the Net destination. I would highly recommend this tour
Daniel, we had a ton of fun inthr pouring rain. Thanks for making th best of it. Highly recommend this intimate, fun trip. Good for all ages!
With only two days in DC, we just could not possibly walk to see this many monuments and get to the primary museums on our list. Not to mention riding in the cart gave our feet a much needed break. I've been to DC a couple of times, but really enjoyed learning from Sophia's vast knowledge of the area.
LOVED IT... Great way to start our visit to DC. 8-person XLG golf cart. Easy on/off was a plus! 2 hour tour to major tourist sites including 4 photo-op stops: Capitol building, Washington monument, MLK memorial and Lincoln memorial/ Vietnam memorial. EJ, DC hometown girl, was a great guide! Thanks EJ!
Loved this tour! Gave everyone in our family the opportunity to see and learn a lot about Washington DC. The tour had 2 stops which made it even better! I would recommend this tour for those new to DC as well as those who have been before!
This tour was perfect for an overview of the city. We had a short period of time to spend that day, and Sophia, our guide, was a treat!!
She was so knowledgeable and had lots of interesting little tidbits. You need to check this out!!
We had a great time! Anna was knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you very much!
Allie did a great job. I would highly recommend this tour.
An excellent way to be introduced to Washington. Sean was most informative and obliging, taking us where we wished.
Very fun and a great tour guide! My family loved it. Great way to see all the monuments and get historical facts about DC.
Excellent! The guide was very fun and we all had a great time.
Anna was amazing and she made the tour so much fun. We really enjoyed the experience.
This 2 hour tour is a great way to start a Washington DC trip as it gives you an overview of The Mall, museums and monuments.
Anna our guide was great with useful info and tips on everything.
The little trolley was great as no windows meant great photos.
There is time to walk around a few of the monuments too.
I would definitely recommend this tour to old and young and everyone in between.
This tour was a marvelous way to see the monuments. The cart was very comfortable and safe, and Sofia was a wonderful, relaxed guide, full of interesting information. She helped us get great pictures and was most accommodating in giving us time to see several of the monuments up close. Best way to see much in a short time and to avoid all the miles of walking! Loved everything about it.
This is an amazing way to see D.C. and our guide Sophia was knowledgeable and totally enjoyable. I have been to D.C. many times and taken many tours and this was the best, by far. I've been telling everyone I know about it. A totally enjoyable two hours and worth every penny.
Ning was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable and had a ton of fun facts on the tour. She was very accommodating to everyone in our group. It was a great overall view of Washington D.C. and covered a lot of real estate in the two hours.
My guide was tremendous. She was versed on the monuments, trivia and background of the DC area. My wife, mother and I totally enjoyed the golf cart tour, and Sophia's ability to communicate.
Our tour guide, Rob, was excellent. He took us to all the sites and accommodated our requests when we needed longer time at locations and he was very knowledgeable. The tour was intimate, not like the big bus tours, and the open air cart was very comfortable and conducive to photos. I would highly recommend this 2 hour tour. It's perfect for the beginning of your visit so you know where you might want to go back to and spend more time.
A great way to get around the Monuments and despite the weather not being too good we have a really enjoyable time with an excellent driver/guide and great fellow guests.
A fun trip definitely worth doing whilst in DC.
This was our first trip to DC and I was extremely happy with our tour. Small group, very knowledgeable tour guide. We saw all the Monuments and enjoyed our tour. I have recommended this tour to all our family and friends.
Best guide.... best experience!! Highly recommend!!
great loved it and the tour guide too
Our driver/tour guide, Colleen, was AMAZING!!!! Very knowledgeable on the sights and had snippets of unusual information on our past presidents. She was so friendly and easy to be with!!! The tour is informative and and gives you an overview of the sights surrounding the National Mall while driving in a comfortable electric cart
We had such a fun and informative guide named Anna! The electric cart was a unique, fun, and stylish way to get around DC! It was a fantastic cherry red color. We received lots of admiring looks and waves from pedestrians and drivers alike. One woman even stopped while crossing the street to take a photo of the red cart! Anna knows her DC insider knowledge. She was very informative about the monuments, the streets, and backstory. And, total bonus: she's extremely pleasant. I highly recommend a tour with Anna and her cherry red electric cart. Here we are in front of the Library of Congress. The tour is quick only two hours but it's s nice taste'of DC when you have limited time. Thanks, Anna! -- Ann, Lisa, Jen, and Kim
We had a great tour. We were the only two with the guide, and she was marvelous. She knew her history and knew how to avoid traffic concerns. Wife has concerns with walking, so cart ride was perfect for the both of us.
I have been coming to DC for over 20 years and this was the first time ever taking a tour. I thought that I really knew Washington but Miller proved me wrong. She was outstanding and this 2 hour tour was the highlight of our weekend. My family raved about her and I can't think of a better way to get immersed quickly into DC. Plus she really knows the coffee shops!!!!
Covered a lot of DC in two hours. Mike was very informative, funny, friendly and accommodating. A great way to see so much in a short amount of time. Liked the small group and stops at the FDR, MLK and Lincoln memorials was perfect.
Thought for the time we had available it covered all the inner city highlights of Washington DC. Mike was very accommodation and interesting and knew the history really well. We enjoyed our jaunt around the nations capital. J and T from
Great way to tour and not as much walking. Much better than getting on and off of big buses. Easy to take pictures and tour guide was exceptional and very helpful! So glad we chose this tour and got to see a lot of the historical sites!
Great tour and guide very informative and friendly.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the buildings we passed. He was an excellent guide and I have recommended this tour to several other people.
Driver mike was great and very informative
es una manera rápida y cómoda de conocer lo más importante y luego se puede ir a conocer lo más interesante, la guía muy amable y bien informada, el carro eléctrico llega adonde no pueden llegar los otros vehículos.
We took this tour the weekend of September 24. Our driver, Mike, was wonderful! Many of the streets were blocked off due to the opening of the Smithsonian African-American Museum, but Mike knew the area and was able to get us around to see the things we wanted to see. He was quite knowledgeable and informative and very entertaining. It is somewhat forbidding to be in what is essentially a large golf cart in the midst of Washington DC traffic. On the other hand, its small size and maneuverability allowed us into places that a bus would not. THe tour went nicely and I would highly recommend it!
Top class tour. Good conversation throughout, and the driver even dropped us off at a convenient spot.
Great tour! We saw all monuments, heard about the history and the history behind the history. Our tour guide Mike was super good. Is a great way to see DC Monuments we you are short on time, is fun for the kids and super comfortable. Highly recommended!
This is the way to go to get a 2 hour tour of the DC monuments. I've lived in the DC area almost my whole life but had friends in town who had never been here. They loved it and so did I. Mike our tour guide was informative and entertaining.
Rob our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. A really great tour! Definitely the way to go if you have a limited time in DC. Concise, but very informational. And the carts make it feel like a walking tour, but covering much more ground.
Awesome tour with guide who gave the historical facts of each monument along with added information that made the tour even better. It's the way to go if you have a short time to tour or have trouble walking long distances. I was able to take pictures and on a very hot day the breeze was great.
This was such a blast especially in the Summer as we were able to avoid the heat.
Brian was the most enthusiastic and well informed guide! He made the tour very special!
This 2 hour trip that covers all of the major monuments is the perfect way to see Washington. We just had a few days in DC and the weather was hitting nearly 100 degrees F/40 degrees C on the day we were touring. We would never have been able to walk and see everything that we did in that 2 hour tour. This is HIGHLY recommended for families. Worth every penny!
Great way to get a big picture snap of the city. On a hot day, it was comfortable because of the breezes created by cart movement, better than trying to walk much of this. Miller had a great voice, fun inside stories, and was patient with my 92 year old mother.
Drew was our guide and he was awesome! He was very informative! It was definitely the way to tour Washington DC ! I would highly recommend the electric cart!!
Awesome tour. Great guides that knew alot about D.C. Plan on taking this tour from Urban Adventures when we go to New York next year.
The tour was fantastic. Out tour guide Mike was very informative. He shared great stories and history of the sites and city. I enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this tour
If you are short on time and can't walk long distances to monuments this is a fun tour. It doesn't cover everything or give you long stops, but it worked for us on this trip.
My guides were wonderful. It rained like sixes but we had a lot of fun and learned a lot.
Execellent, super informative, do not missed
Excellent tour guide - bad bad weather. Although zipped-in because of the rain our guide handled the situation with good humor and lots of info about the various sites. I certainly would book thru Viator again
My tour was amazing! The guide was very knowledgeable. We had a great time.
Very nice! Our guide Geroge was excellent.
Great tour and our guide was fantastic.
The tour guide was very informative. I was the only guest so was give a personalised tour. Would highly recommend.
It was a great tour! Brian new so many little details about Washington, DC. It is only two hours long if you don't have much time to see all that DC has to offer. I was pressed for time and this fit in my schedule perfectly! Make sure to bring appropriate attire to keep warm during cooler temperatures and Brian was so kind in offering a blanket to keep warm.
This was a fun and easy way of ensuring we saw all the key monuments in Washington DC. Our guide could not have been more helpful, considerate or informative. Thank you.
tour guide Mike was awesome, learned some very interesting things about DC.
very informative...loved it!
Our family really enjoyed our tour with Brian-he was an excellent guide. Brian worked to customize the tour to our liking providing us more time in some spots and less in others. He shared his extensive knowledge of the DC area and we would highly recommend taking this tour.
Great guide and transport- the cart was open at the side so we could get all the atmosphere and best photos. It was so easy to get in and out.
Our guide was terrific! We had three generations with us and all loved the trip. Could not have been better!
I love our tour. The guide was great and knowledgeable! A perfect way to see a lot in a shorter amount of time.
Amy was fantastic - knowledgeable and personable. There were 5 of us so we had the cart to ourselves. It's a great way to see the sights in a 2 hour period. The tour lets you out for 15 minutes at the Martin Luther King memorial and again for another 15 minutes at the Lincoln Memorial. Both are worth the visit. I highly recommend this tour.
The tour was great!!! We saw all the most important places in DC around the capital. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and really had a good personality that made out tour that much better. We have and will continue to tell other people about your tour and recommend them very highly. Thanks
Perfect overview for our short trip to DC. Great guide. Very knowledgeable. Accommodated my wheelchair bound 89 year old mom with dignity and grace.
George, our guide, really made the tour amazing. He took historical facts, and then put a story together about how each of the monuments or buildings came to be. I still remember most of what he said because it was soooo entertaining. BEST BUY FOR THE MONEY.
This tour was amazing!
Loved the vehicle this tour uses - certainly limits the size of the group, but more than that, you feel so much closer to the action! Tour guide was super - we would have stayed with her and that little vehicle all day if we could have!
