Located behind Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms, Morgan Creek meanders through a rich salt marsh estuary dotted with small verdant hammock islands. Once we paddle away from the marina into Morgan Creek, you'll be surrounded by the marsh grass, shore birds and the natural beauty of the Lowcountry.

What You'll Do

Located behind Wild Dunes Resort on the Isle of Palms, Morgan Creek meanders through a rich salt marsh estuary dotted with small verdant hammock islands. Morgan Creek and the connecting estuaries give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Isle of Palms. The quiet rhythm of the kayaks will recalibrate your mind and remind you why the Lowcountry is one of the most attractive destinations in the world.Once we paddle away from the marina into Morgan Creek, you'll be surrounded by the marsh grass, shore birds and the natural beauty of the Lowcountry. Daily tours last up to three hours, and include basic kayak instruction.

Age & Fitness

Children 12 & under will paddle in front of a tandem kayak.

Patrick McMillan Lecture

On Saturday June 24 Friends of Coastal South Carolina will host a thought provoking evening with Patrick McMillan. Patrick brings a unique perspective to the challenges of conservation in our time and imparts an equally unique understanding of how we shape our world. Current students and educators will recieve a discounted price of $35. $50/per person $35/per person with a valid student or educator ID 5pm-7pm at the Charleston Library Society, 164 King Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Lecture followed by cocktails and hors d'oeuvres with Patrick McMillan.
